Summerwood opens new Information Center
Opened to welcome home shoppers to this Humble Independent School District Community, offering new homes priced from the $160,000s to $400,000s, this cottage-style information center is surrounded by a landscaped park, inviting visitors to relax with its playground and log bench. The park also has a walking trail, lined with signs that share community details such as:
- Summerwood has three lakes, totaling 17 acres. The 1,500-acre community also borders on Lake Houston, and its Lakeview Park offers views and access to this lake.
- Summerwood has over 8 miles of greenbelt trails, along with three major community centers.
- Summerwood will be home to over 3,200 families when it is completed.
- Summerwood has more than 10 social groups started by residents. Its Intranet, www.SummerwoodLife.com, helps residents stay connected to the latest community news and events.
- The Summerwood Stingrays Swim Team has over 150 swimmers.
Inside, visitors can "meet" several actual Summerwood residents who share their favorite things about living in the community - via life-sized photo displays.

The Model Home Village showcases a growing variety of
homebuilders and new-home designs by Lennar, Village Builders,
Partners In Building, and J. Patrick Homes. Brighton Homes, the
newest member of the Summerwood homebuilder team, has also started
construction of its new model in the village, and more new builders
and products will be announced this spring.
